🆕 Brand New: Session Notes for Work Order Time Tracking

Your technicians can now capture session notes right from Lightspeed while they work. No more losing context, no more "what did we do on that job?" conversations after the fact.

Add notes during an active session — a new "📝 Session Notes" button replaces the "Summary" button the moment a tech clocks in. Tap it, type a note, hit Save & Close. Done.
Notes linked to the session, not just the work order — if a tech clocks in and out of a WO multiple times, each session's notes stay tied to that specific work window.
Visible everywhere you need it — notes show up in the admin portal's Work Order Report modal, as hover tooltips on the Work Order list, and in the daily email report.
Per-shop control — a new admin toggle lets you enable or disable session notes for each shop you manage.
Notes persist forever — every note is timestamped, attributed to the employee who wrote it, and tied to the exact session it belongs to.

✨ Improved: Work Order Time Tracking Admin Portal

A handful of admin portal improvements you've been asking for:

See every work order, not just the ones with sessions — previously the admin list hid WOs that had no tracking activity. Now you see the full picture.
Session count column — at a glance, see how many sessions were run on each work order.
Exclude from analytics checkbox — got a weird test order or bad data skewing your numbers? Check the box and it disappears from your analytics and daily report totals. Notes column — hover over any work order in the list to see its session notes without opening the full report.
Sort by newest WO first — the admin list now sorts by work order creation date (not last session), making it easier to find recent jobs.
Cleaner employee dropdowns — no more duplicate employee names when editing or adding sessions.

📣 Improved: MsgHub Messaging Tool

MsgHub got a round of polish based on your feedback:

Per-shop SMS routing — if you have multiple locations on different SMS providers (Twilio, RingCentral), MsgHub now routes messages correctly based on the shop, not the user.
Sidebar behaves properly — the conversation sidebar now closes when you expect it to, whether you click outside it or tap another conversation.
Accurate message timestamps — timestamps now reflect the actual send/receive time consistently.
Button visibility fix — the MsgHub button now reliably appears on the customer profile page in Lightspeed.

💬 Improved: CS Portal Support Tickets

For our customer success team (and anyone watching ticket counts):

Ticket categories — support tickets now include a category dropdown, making it easier to triage and report on.
Priority filter — filter the ticket list by priority to focus on what needs attention first.

🔧 Fixed: EOM Tool Inventory Count Processing

A silent bug in the End-of-Month tool was preventing some inventory items from being reconciled when a work order had a mix of reserved and non-reserved items. All items now reconcile correctly, regardless of their reservation status. If you have run EOM recently and noticed missing items in the resulting inventory count, this release fixes it.

🔐 Improved: SMS Compliance (10DLC)

Behind-the-scenes improvements to how LS Toolkit submits SMS campaigns to our provider for compliance review:

Unified consent page for customer opt-ins — clean, compliant, and publicly accessible at sms.lstoolkit.com.
Online-only opt-in flow to match latest compliance requirements.
Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions URLs now correctly included in every campaign submission.
Stronger campaign content to improve TCR approval rates on first submission.

If you have been waiting on 10DLC approval, resubmit your campaign from the admin portal — the new submission format should move through review faster.

🛠 Quality-of-Life Fixes

A grab bag of smaller fixes we rolled in:

Daily report analytics fix — Week-to-Date numbers now calculate correctly across month boundaries.
Session notes Save & Close flow — the notes modal now auto-closes after saving so you are not left clicking around.
Work order start/stop access — removed an incorrect permission check that was blocking some employees from using the clock-in/clock-out buttons. All employees can now use WOTT as intended.
Timezone normalization — legacy shop timezone values (US/Pacific, US/Central) have been updated to their standard IANA equivalents (America/Los_Angeles, America/Chicago) for more reliable date handling.
Dependency security updates — the usual round of security patches applied across all components.
